Brett‘s take on PLOY‘s “XIX” proves that minimalist electronic music can still evoke emotion. The Washington-based foursome comprised of Mick, Kevin, Jon, and David ooze summertime vibes with hazy melodies and a simple dance beat. Apparently that’s all it takes to transform what was already a breathtaking track by fellow DC-ers, PLOY. 

Brett has kept busy with remixes of Teen Mom and Misun, while working extensively on a noteworthy album titled Rap Songs x Visions, released back in February of this year via Dub Frequency. Their indie dance sound was a perfect match for PLOY’s bubbly electronic simplicity, challenging each note, lyric and melody.
