Just over three years ago, Australian-based duo Yolanda Be Cool released their multicultural dance tune “We Speak No Americano,” which earned platinum status in the US while simultaneously soaring to the top of the charts worldwide. Just yesterday, Atlanta-based producer HeRobust, aka Hayden Kramer, shared his BUSTED version of the original track. Already hitting 13,000 + plays within several hours, Hayden presents us with a heavy big-room trap tune.
At the 15-second mark, heRobust starts off with a bold, yet smooth crescendo that ultimately leads us into a trap heavy drop. The kind of drop that will have your face freezing in conjunction with the super nova-esque transition that causes the ground to shake. Mind you, this is not your standard “drop”—Kramer artistically keeps the Italian beauty of the original while infusing his forte of synths on the up-beat. The sexy horns and Neapolitan language are still there serving as a backbone for this symphonic piece. The resulting product is a harmonious symbiosis of old school Southeastern trap and classic rhythmic folk. It’s true symbol of global free expression.
The remix comes just in time for Kramer’s forthcoming “Throw That EP” with the Denver based duo known as Two Fresh. It’s set to hit the stores on August 6th and is one we are definitely keeping on our radar. Don’t forget to head on over to heRobust’s Soundcloud page to grab the free download.
