Groovy Q’s floating head makes its debut in the “Collard Greens” video. Yes, you read that correctly. After dropping “Collard Greens” and “Yay Yay” as singles, ScHoolboy Q has been busy on the road promoting his forthcoming album (and debut on Interscope Records) Oxymoron. In true Black Hippy fashion, Q and Kendrick Lamar can take even the most lowkey events (it’s really a house party) and transform them (with the help of some trippy effects) into the insane experience you’ll see in this video. “Collard Greens” was produced by THC and is undoubtedly one of my favorite tracks by Q. The video seems to be a perfect fit. And wait – is that Macklemore? Watch below.
While Oxymoron has not been given an official release date, let’s hope the projected release dates are accurate, and that Interscope does release it sometime this fall.
