Beginning with his name, Tim explains “the name Avicii means the lowest level of Buddhist hell,” and how he chose the moniker when finding that his real name was already used upon creating his MySpace page.
He dates his earliest inspiration to house music blogs, where after using them to explore new music he decided to send them original material. In result, Ash Pournouri spotted the youngster and reached out, becoming his manager soon after. Tim went on to discuss producing and DJing during that time period before giving credit to those who helped him in his earliest days.
