Next off the Speed of Life album trail, Dirty South has offered his Joe Gil-assisted “Until The End” in various forms; from the original that donned his debut to the eloquent music video. Bringing the record full circle, Dragan is now releasing its remix package with efforts from understudy Michael Brun, progressive wiz Tom Staar, and even a rework of his own.
First taking a second shot at “Until The End,” Dirty South injects larger, more live-set fulfilling chords contrary to the elements originally bound to the theme of Speed of Life. Joe Gil’s enchanting vocal still holds weight, but Tom Staar first delivers an onslaught of layered synths and rolling drums, building anticipation for the serenade before providing the package’s depth. With a rendition in the vein of Phazing Michael Brun proves that his mentor has influenced him, balancing well-polished synth stylings with a drop that draws from the vocal peak.
