Seattle hip-hop continues to climb into the spotlight. Independent rapper Sol prepares to release his upcoming EP Eyes Open on September 10th with the release of his second single “Tomorrow.” Incredible production from Elan Wright and The Zillas leads Sol to dive into his aspirations for the future with a mesmerizing hook assisted by Shayhan.
“It ain’t about where you’ve been. It’s all about where you’re going. Even when shit gets hard, I’m a be back tomorrow.” A frequent advocate of feel good, uplifting rap music Sol seems to finally be turning some heads. The recent success of his good friend Macklemore certainly helped the strong northwest hip-hop scene gain some momentum. Proving his dedication Sol promises, “that’s why I’m on the map tryna e-volve. You can bet I be back when the beat drops.”
