With summer drawing to an end, there are still those little musical gems that keep that sunshine soaked vibe alive, and that’s exactly what you get with the new single from the extremely talented UK vocalist Daley. The singer, hailing from Manchester, has just recently released the video for “Broken”, to coincide with the songs release on September 22. The track was produced by Bernard Butler and Chris Loco, who set the backdrop with poignant strings that sweep across a strong drum pattern that helps lift the tempo of the track. Lyrically, Daley talks about being hurt in love and how it’s left him a broken man.

Not only does Daley have a unique voice, his image is also of the same ilk, with his distinctive red hair and style all contributing to his appeal. It’s testimony to his talent that he has some of the biggest names in music working with him on his album. With confirmed production features from Pharrell, Illangelo and Happy Prez, it’s clear that he’s getting the recognition that his talent deserves. “Broken” is the follow up to his critically acclaimed track “Remember Me” which saw him collaborate with fellow Brit Jessie J, and received a lot of support from the likes of Radio 1 and Capital FM. “Broken” is taken from Daley’s forthcoming major label debut Days & Nights which is due out early next year on Polydor.
