DeAira hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, and seeks to make her mark as a rising producer/composer/instrumentalist. It’s a glaringly male-dominated world in reference to production, though newcomers like Canada’s Wondagurl are poised to shift the statistics. The Sin City producer’s style is fixed on a blend of soul/R&B and hip-hop, with a few electronic aspects, which is obvious when listening to her LP Love Among Other Things. The former collegiate athlete cites Love &Basketball, her favorite film, as the inspiration for the project. The theme is taken from the movie Love & Basketball and it portrays the story of finding love, meeting love, gaining love, and losing love.
