A couple weeks ago The Magician unveiled his latest production “When The Night Is Over,” his first release since being signed to Parlophone Records. The track, which has been met with praise from all directions, veered away from his signature disco-infused sound incorporating the harder edges of house and a vocal hook from the Stockholm-hailing duo the Newtimers. Kicking off the track with tech-oriented bass kicks, The Magician delivers fans a different sound, without loosing his unique throwback appeal.
Officially out for purchase today, The Magician is hyping up the first cut from his forthcoming EP with an official music video for “When The Night Is Over.” The video, directed by Romain Segaud, mimics a stereo equalizer, replacing the colored lights with random objects, food and buildings. A simple video that will keep fans talking about the tune until the forthcoming “Deep Volcano” and “Enchanted Land,” expected out later this year.
