With their fourth track in just over a month, the boys of 2AM Club are back. As we sit and wait for what seems like an imminent full-length project announcement, the group drops off another freebie in the shape of “Heat Of The Night”. Whether it be the bubbling synths or Marc Griffin’s alluring hook, we are grabbed from the get-go. Supporting verses from Tyler Cordy build and converge on the chorus, as listeners are engulfed by soaring vocals that send us into dancefloor oblivion. The vocal dynamic provides a distinct take on any backing provided by Matt, Dave, and Sauce.
The most uptempo release to date is a testament to their unparalleled range. Our emotions are subject to the five-piece’s doing. The boys throw us a complete 180 compared to the somber “Tell Her Hi,” yet their standard for excellence remains constant; a 2AM Club track exists for every occasion.
