Hot off Zane Lowe’s premiere of “Hate or Glory” on BBC Radio 1 today, the visuals for the first released Aleph track has also just been released. Gesaffelstein yet again brings the intensity with his new track, bringing forth a strange mixture of violence, power, and anger, and making it intensely sexy in a way only Zone Records, his and The Hacker‘s label, is able to provide.

The video begins by setting up a tale of greed and violence, and then makes its way to a group of young men committing crimes throughout town. Things take a turn however, when a character turns to gold and begins to meddle in the true fight between hatred and glory. The downfall highlights lust, greed, anger, and eventually ends with the decimation of said golden character with a climactic and explosive end.

Gesaffelstein has always pushed the boundaries of modern music, and this video is a genius method of furthering his experimental boundaries. It’s a wild card, and along with “Pursuit,” it has become increasingly obvious that this elusive producer has managed to mesh his pieces of art to mold with the visual, rather than as a supplement.

Aleph, his debut album, is coming out on the 28th of this month.
