Not so long ago, we posted an A$AP Rocky cover that sent chills down my spine, such was the eeriness yet soulful performance from UK artist Bipolar Sunshine. In preparation for the release of his upcoming Drowning Butterflies EP, the Manchester born singer has released a track taken from that project, “Love More Worry Less”.
The three and a half minute track has soft strings that sets an uplifting mood for the song, which is accompanied by a sporadic beat that features deep kicks and echo drenched snares. The vocals on this song are what makes it stand out from the rest of the current crop of music, with a passionate chorus that has some truly wonderful harmonies and a catchy melody. If this track is anything to go by, then Drowning Butterflies could be one of the more underrated projects this year. Drowning Butterflies is due out 8th November and you can pre order the EP over on iTunes, where you can also pick up his first EP Aesthetics. Oh and just as a bonus, if you signup to Bipolar Sunshines mailing list, you can download his track “Blossom” for free!
