A mob of men riding on bicycles wearing hockey masks and robbing convenience stores in New York City seems like something the A$AP Mob would do. So they did.
In celebration of the two-year anniversary of Live.Love.A$AP, A$AP Rocky’s first mixtape, Rocky let go of the music video for the song “Angels,” a popular cut off his debut album Long.Live.A$AP. Midway through the visuals, the crew attacks a random person on the street and partakes in the execution of a disguised enemy. Seems proper for a video released on Halloween.
In doing so, Rocky reminds us how drastic his rise to fame has actually become. In two short years he’s become a force in hip-hop trends and music. “24 years old worth a couple million,” he raps. “Niggas got rips in they jeans man I started that, Hood by air man I started that. Niggas claim they the God of black, well your name is purple I’m the God of that.” But let’s be clear here, he’s no angel.
Long.Live.A$AP is available for purchase on iTunes.
