You might have heard of Mexican production duo Pachanga Boys under their more experimental name Hippie Dance. But the boys are back under the former to remix the uber famous, boundary breaking electronic band Royksopp’s “Running to the Sea” that came out earlier this year and features the soft but powerful vocals of Susanne Sundfor. Mexico and Norway might look like an unusual combination on paper, but boy does it sound right through headphones for a hypnotizing 12 minutes and 14 seconds. With a sprawling bass line and dark progressive sound, Pachanga Boys transform “Running to the Sea” to a stripped down underground track that will be out for purchase at the end of the month.
