It was during his teens that Feral‘s musical tastes began to darken, citing an affection for artists ranging from DMX to Nine Inch Nails to Photek, a collection he had to keep a secret from his religious family. Now, the budding producer’s tracks have been played in mixes by Lunice, Brenmar, Brodinski, and Plastician, as well as a feature on an Astro Nautico compilation. To close out his already-successful 2013, Feral is releasing his debut EP, Haymaker, via new Los Angeles label The Big Hurt.

The five bass-laden tracks range in influence from nostalgic old-school dubstep to more recently trending producers like RL Grime and Gesaffelstein, with a full, heavy, energetic sound.
