French producer, Kulkid, has had a string of good luck with his recent remixes and releases. Most of them are instant hits gaining support from the likes of Fatboy Slim and Bakermat. Though his edits and remixes are so hot right now, it’s about time he started releasing some originals. Enter his debut production, “U Were The One”.
This track has everything from tribal drums to bird noises, strumming guitar to echoing vocals. Does it sound familiar? You may have heard one of the sounds in Shadow Child‘s “String Thing“, or maybe the melody reminds you of Haddaway‘s “What Is Love”. Regardless of the similarities, Kulkid’s debut track is nothing short of impressive.
