The Twelve MKII
The twelve is, quite possibly, the best vinyl-like experience to be had. It’s powerful motorized control system lets you take full advantage of the digital world with old-school look and feel. MKII expands beyond just Serato control this time around and now supports Traktor and Virtual DJ users via USB and DVS. You can even use it with a slipmat! What? How did they do that?
The Seventy-Two MKII
The Seventy-Two MKII Scratch Mixer is a beauty and well deserving of all of the accolades. It adds the top requested feature of a external crossfader tension adjust for quick and easy control of the feel of the crossfader. The MKII is also equiped with three new ultra-light MAG FOUR faders for the lightest and smoothest faders you’ve ever laid your grubby fingers on. The wizard behind the curtain is certainly that beautiful color touch-screen, not only does it show the moving waveforms of your tracks but it’s used for FX control and other performance tools. The price on the Seventy-Two is $1899 and the Twelve is $899, so they’re certainly not cheap but you’ll definitely be the envy of all the wannabe DJs on your block. Now might also be a good time to pick up the old model Seventy-Two at a cheaper price.
