Steve Aoki is known for some infamous collaborations, from Tiesto on “Tornado” to Laidback Luke and Lil’ Jon on “Turbulence.” His latest team up is with bass heavy electro-house duo Knife Party on “Pile Diver” and the three recently announced a music video is in the works.
2012 has been a massive year for both Steve Aoki and Rob Swire/Gareth McGrillen of Knife Party. Both have performed on some of the biggest stages in the American dance music scene including Ultra Music Festival and Electronic Daisy Carnival. “Pile Diver,” which has been played out along the festival circuit, should be nothing new for frequent concertgoers. But a music video from the entertaining producers will only amplify the force behind the intense bangs of the tune.

The trio is set to shoot the video for “Pile Diver” next month, with an official release set for early 2013. Catch Steve Aoki in New York tonight, October 18, at Lavo. And Knife Party on their Haunted House tour which starts at NYC’s Pier 94 on October 26 and ends in Los Angeles at Hard’s Day of the Dead festival on November 3.
On the heels of Aoki’s music video announcement he also unveiled his latest endeavor iPhone apps. Aoki released his #AOKIFY app today, which allows users to upload their own photos and add Steve Aoki and Dim Mak stickers to them.
