- The annual DJ Mag poll was announced on Friday during an Amsterdam Dance Event awards ceremony. Armin van Buuren reclaimed the number one spot for the fifth time, pushing David Guetta down to number four.

- Ultra Music Festival tickets went on sale this week, with the announcement that the festival would be expanded to two weekends sandwiching Miami Music Week.

- During a live A State of Trance broadcast at Amsterdam Dance Event, Armin van Buuren announced the first six cities on his ASOT 600 world tour. Mexico City, Sao Paolo, Beirut, Kuala Lumpur, New York, and Den Bosch are locked down for “The Expedition.”

- On Monday, Eric Prydz released his much anticipated new single, “Every Day” and previewed a few remixes that will come with the full EP released on November 15th.
- Swedish House Mafia released their “Don’t You Worry Child” remix package, including eclectic takes on the track from artists like Joris Voorn, Kryder & Tom Staar, and Promise Land.
- DJ Fresh crossed the pond to release a teaser Louder EP after becoming the first dubstep producer to reach #1 on the UK charts, with the title track “Louder.”
