So it’s the 7th Annual Hard Dance Awards voting time. It seems the categories have changed a bit to be more region specific which really makes no sense at all and seems to be a ploy to try to add more categories to the awards. My suggestion for next year maybe also add categories for DJ and Producers that also divides them up my hair or eye color and maybe age or Mac or PC preferrence. Best US DJ with Black Hair, Brown Eyes Over 21 on a PC…ME!! But anyway, go vote so some DJs can increase the rates they are currently charging after they win. Where’s my whistle crew?

7th Annual Hard Dance Awards powered by Trackitdown.net has launched!

When better than the start of a new decade to kick off the 7th annual celebration of the scene we all love? Showcasing the latest and the best features of the unstoppable and international party movement, this edition is going to be the biggest yet!

Big news is that the categories have evolved to embrace all the styles of hard electronic music rocking the dance planet right now. Over the last few years the rise of European hard beats has come to dominate the world arena and we’re here to represent it all. If that’s not your sound then feel free to make your mark for your favourite UK producer and DJ instead. Simples!

Voting couldn’t be easier – from Monday 4th January 2010 head to www.harddanceawards.com and make yourselves heard in the biggest annual poll for the harder styles.

As always, the Awards ceremony needs a platform to present that showcases the scale of our scene and this year we’ve gone for gold! The Atomik Weekender 3 event promoted by GoodGreef and Chic Festivals will play host to the biggest array of talent you’ll see anywhere in 2010 and the Hard Dance Awards will be there in force right in the middle.

Held at the legendary Prestatyn holiday park that has been the home to hard dance weekenders for a decade, the Atomik Weekender 3 in the perfect location for three days of celebration.
