Canadian producer Twigg just released his latest EP titled The Shadow Is What You Hear. Compared to his previous two EPs this project is more “personal and intimate for the listeners” as he would describe it. This time around he took a more melodic approach in structuring the atmosphere of the EP. The inspiration for the title came from a text he was reading while writing an essay for a Canadian Music class. Listeners are taken on a little journey when listening to these six songs. The slow entrance with “Circulate” and “Hospital”, leading to a faster more energetic “Inner Face” and “Kill The Clouds”. With “Onne” and “Never Sleep With Out Me” reiterating the melodic feel easing listeners to the end of the composition. A part from ambient productions Twigg has also stamped credits with Chief Keef as well as Koenigsegg for You Tube’s Drive Channel. Stream the EP below and begin paying attention to Canadian producers if you haven’t been already.
