Singapore’s Kevin Lester has just released his debut EP, Everything You Love, You Hate, following a stand-out year that included a performance with Nelly Furtado, The Spirit Indestructible showcase in Singapore, and a trip across the pacific for shows at SXSW and the A3C Hip-Hop Festival.

LionCityBoy (as he’s known in Singapore) has become the flag bearer for Singaporean hip-hop to the rest of the world, and with one listen to his first single “Hear Me Go”, it’s easy to see why. His confident rhyming style, paired with an ear for versatile and agreeable beats, make The LionCityBoy an MC fit to spread the Singaporean hip-hop gospel.
