Hot off the heels of a recent Revealed Records release called “Get Down” that hit #25 on the Beatport progressive charts, which garnered the support of house music honchos Hardwell, Tommy Trash and Showtek, Henry Fong is back at it again, this time on a collaboration with 17-year-old Toby Green a rising EDM prodigy out out of Denmark on a track called “Revival” featured on Megaton Records. The track combines unique contemporary disco elements infused with electro undertones and a big room drop that will give you that dance fever that we all crave. I asked Fong where the name of the track stemmed from and he told me, “that the name ‘Revival’ comes from the idea of bringing back musical elements from house music’s predecessor which is Disco.” An eclectic mix of disco bell loops, vocal chops, groovy melodies, and Fong’s signature electro/big room drop will be sure to please all music enthusiasts! With support on the track from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Felix Cartel, Dallask, and Showtek you know this song will not disappoint. What has been so satisfying for me is being able to watch an artist grow and progress. Henry Fong has been that guy, beginning with his acid house releases on Manufactured Music and Big Fish to his progressive electro bootlegs of “Daydreamer” by Flux Pavillion and “Devil’s Work” by Miike Snow. Now, having had a big release on Revealed Recordings and another big release coming up on his track “Jump,” sky is the limit for Fong.
