When Kendrick Lamar sampled Boom Clap Bachelor‘s “Tiden Flyver” for good kid, m.A.A.d. city‘s “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe”, we should have known that he might resurface on future work by Quadron, seeing as the how the neo-soul duo have now worked closely with the Compton emcee. Avalanche is the forthcoming album by Quadron’s Robin Hannibal and Coco O. and seems to have a bright future with fresh singles like the irresistibly catchy “Hey Love” and added exposure through The Great Gatsby movie soundtrack. Today they released “Better Off”, a sultry ballad featuring frontwoman Coco O. doing what she does best, accompanied with a verse by Lamar. Avalanche will be available June 4. Purchase it here.
