Louis Brodinski is on FIRE right now. Hot off being a co-producer for two tracks off Kanye West’s experimental, yet critically acclaimed Yeezus, the Reim’s bred DJ and producer has been making banger after banger, and proving that he is completely unstoppable this year.
This time around, he has chosen to remix Iamamiwhoami, and this revamped version is an ode to the older schools of techno and electro. It’s back alley party music at it’s best. Premiering this morning on Dummy Magazine, the track only proves why this man was dubbed by the legendary Tiga as “the DJ’s DJ,” although he’s certainly become everyone’s DJ in recent years.
Every track he has brought out has consistently shown considerable growth, and a brilliant refinement in his style. Gone are the days of “Arnold Classics” (which was great in itself), and in seems to be a man that knows how to appropriately create a breakdown in his tracks (as in his recent remix of Destructo) and can control a party of any form. Be it a rave, festival, or a club, this man knows what makes a hit while still keeping his style. It’s only June, what will he do next?
Brodinski and touring partner Gesaffelstein are both busy around Europe, their home continent, but will be in North America for Electric Zoo and Hard Summer. He is also a co-labelhead for the roughly year and a half old Bromance Records, which is home to other incredible artists to watch out for.
