“Change” tells a tale of a broken up love and a man who has a hard time of letting go of his loved one for the best. He’s never been too good a change. It’s a beautiful and very sentimental song with captivating lyrics and has a certain cinematic feel to it. So why remix it and how to do it? Judging by the lack of remixes this seems like a question many before have asked themselves. Matter of fact this seems to be the only remix of this song out there, although the London trio White Lies released “Change” on their latest album “Big TV” in August. Chicago based Dawn Golden stepped up to the challenge and did a solid job simply by not messing with perfection. Less is more sometimes and this was certainly one of those times. Kudos to Dawn Golden for staying true to the original and White Lies’ fans will certainly appreciate this version as well.
