There are a load of huge names in the bottom 50, no surprise they published that.
Also some names that seem a bit suspect towards the top! Some good new entries that I had never heard of.

I would agree with you Living Audio. It would be cool to see 2 lists, one for producers and one for djs. One problem I see is that there are so many clubbers that don’t really know the difference and would probably end up voting for a DJ when really they should be voting for them as a producer. I love Deadmau5 as a producer but when I saw him DJ in L.A. last NYE he made several bad mixes that a DJ in the Top 100 should never make.

Yes! A majority of these voters dont know the difference between a good DJ and a producer. Producer ofthe year would be hands down DeadMau5 but as a DJ he mainly plays only his own tracks which can get old if you keep up with his progression as a DJ. Im surprised no one at DJ Mag has not addressed this. If DJ MAG truly considers itslef the “DJ Authority”
Also i wonder if most of the votes are based on compilation release CDs or actual live gigs attended by the voter. But then again it is just a personal opinion by each individual/voter.
God i love this music:-)

This list totally sucks. no Nick Chagall? Why is Rank 1 so far down Rank 1 vs. Jochen Miller – And Then is a awesome song. Jochen Miller isn’t even in the freaking list. This list is completely outrages. Paul Van Dyk nor Paul Oakenfold should not be anywhere near the top they don’t even deserve to be in the top 150.

It is great whenever i stumble on a remarkable post such as this. Getting a amount weary of the poor quality posts a few blog writers write on their blogs. Keep it up. You’ve got a regular visitor now :)
