Flume has taken a style of electronic music and made it his own with downtempo songs that blend just the right amount of energy into what would otherwise be laid-back and reflective. While his music has made him a household name in his native country of Australia, the rest of the world caught on to the trend like fire when he released his debut album. Since, he has produced remixes here and there that all share the same underlying characteristics that Harley Streten (Flume) is known for.

For his most recent remix Streten decided to take on the experimental electronics of Rustie‘s “Slasherr” which gained some praise upon its initial release, but should be pushed to the masses after people realize there is a Flume edit. Instead of completely revamping the song in a new direction Flume decided to keep things simple in sticking with the build-ups, but introducing trap-like rhythms in the breakdown that give track a spark.

In order grasp what exactly was changed, we recommend listening to the original as it is a great listen even before Flume put his hands on it
